HITHER GREEN: Children's clothes shop offering cash for used items

A CHILDREN’S shop is encouraging residents to help the environment by donating used clothing and toys.
Love Me Again, in Staplehurst Road, Hither Green, is offering cash or vouchers to spend in the shop in exchange for people’s second hand items.
A spokeswoman for the shop says the offer is a great way for parents to not only beat the recession but to help the environment as well.
She said: “Most mothers have precious and often pricey pieces tucked away in their cupboards or lofts.
“We thought, wouldn’t it be a great idea if there was a place to allow people to recycle in style?
“For us, second hand should never mean second best.”
