Refill, reuse, recycle

Don't leave your PC on 24 hours a day

Turn off your PC when away from your desk - (this may be difficult at work). A PC left running 24 hours a day would use £59 worth of electricity over a 12 month period and result in emissions of 716Kg of carbon dioxide a year. (source: www.admin.ox.ac.uk)

Reuse your paper

Think creatively about how to reduce your paper use - use ends of wallpaper, newspaper and old posters as drawer liners or wrapping paper, glossy mags for your home-made cards, leftover office paper for shopping lists.

Bring a mug to work

Tea, coffee, water- whatever floats your boat. It doesn't matter which you drink, what matters is the cup it is inside. Instead of filling landfills with disposable cups and spending money that is literally going into the ground, bring a mug to work.
